Defending the colors of Toyota, the driver now finds himself sitting 13th in the tournament standings with absolute zero margin for error as just four rounds remain before the championship closes.
The culprit behind the early exit was a sudden failure on his machine, specifically the detachment of the floor on his Toyota Camry. That structural issue forced Rossi to park the car and halt his race prematurely on lap five of the final competition.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the calendar, Rossi and the Pradecon team have locked in a clear target: they need to win a race before the year ends. Earlier in the tournament, their closest brush with victory came at Neuquén, where a broken tire cruelly snatched away a win that was sitting right there on a plate for them.
Despite the setback in San Luis, there are genuine reasons for confidence as the series heads to San Nicolás. During the last visit in the 2025 season, Rossi was a constant protagonist across the entire weekend. He opened practice by setting the ninth-fastest time in the first session before improving to sixth in the second.
