Officials from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), noted as one of the most prestigious academic institutions in South America, recently paid a visit to the Asociación Corredores Turismo Carretera (ACTC) headquarters. The primary goal of the gathering was to strengthen institutional ties and lay the groundwork for future cooperative projects in education, ranging from specialized events to hands-on activities.
The visiting delegation from the university brought serious engineering weight. It included Alejandro Martínez, who serves as the dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Horacio Nieco, director of the Mechanical Engineering Department; Eduardo Costa, secretary of the Mechanical Engineering Department; and Magdalena Cos, a mechanical engineering student and driver.
During the visit, the UBA representatives took a tour of the ACTC facilities. Afterward, they sat down for an official meeting with Facundo Gil Bicella, the General Secretary of ACTC, and Ariel Guarino, coordinator of the ACTC educational area. Also present at the talks were representatives from the institution's legal and administrative departments.
The session provided a strong platform to exchange proposals and examine various working alternatives aimed at future collaboration. The discussions focused on developing new training sessions, workshops, educational events, and specialized programs designed to create spaces for knowledge exchange centered on engineering, education, and motorsport.
For its part, ACTC Educación continues to deepen its relationships with benchmark academic institutions. By forging these strategic alliances, the organization aims to broaden and strengthen its educational offerings while bringing academic knowledge ever closer to the world of racing.
