It depends on the series. An F1 Grand Prix runs about 305 km and usually lasts an hour and a half; a NASCAR Cup race covers 400 to 600 miles and takes three to four hours; a MotoGP race is over in about 45 minutes. Endurance races run 6 to 24 hours and a rally spreads over three or four days.
