A double century of excellence at Balaton Park

It is difficult to process that both Marc Marquez and the Ducati Lenovo Team hit their 100th Grand Prix and MotoGP wins, respectively, on the exact same Sunday at Balaton Park. Seeing two icons of the sport reach the magic tonne on the same day is nothing short of incredible.

Following a dry spell of 12 races without a victory, the factory team finally broke through. This win marked the 12th for Marc Marquez in Bologna red, placing him fourth on the team's all-time winners list. He remains behind Andrea Dovizioso, Casey Stoner, and his teammate, two-time World Champion Francesco Bagnaia. Since Loris Capirossi first put the Italian marque on the map at the 2003 Catalan GP, 11 riders have now contributed to this tally, including title winners Stoner, Bagnaia, and Marquez.

With the victory secured, the team turns their focus toward adding to these numbers in 2026. It is a stunning milestone for a manufacturer that has defined an era of racing, and watching them continue to battle at the front of the MotoGP field remains a privilege.
