Cal Crutchlow remains with Castrol Honda LCR for Brno and Assen
It is official: Cal Crutchlow is staying on the Castrol Honda LCR bike for the next two rounds. The team has confirmed he will continue to replace the injured Johann Zarco at the upcoming Grands Prix in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
This is a fascinating return for the Briton. He heads back to Brno, a circuit where he secured his first podium in 2012 and took his maiden victory in 2016. The following week, he will take on the TT Circuit Assen, the site of his 2013 podium finish. After his performance at the HungarianGP, Crutchlow noted, "It was probably the most physically demanding race I've ever done. I'm happy with the result because we understand our current situation, but the lap times show that I'm making progress and getting more comfortable on the bike."
