Daniel Holgado to join BK8 Gresini Racing for 2027
The movement for the 2027 grid has begun, and the news is absolutely brilliant. BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP has officially confirmed that Daniel Holgado, currently a star for CFMOTO Aspar Moto2, will be stepping up to the premier class with them. To secure a talent of his caliber for the start of this new era is a massive statement.
Holgado is a serious machine. He is a four-time Moto3 race winner and has already claimed three Moto2 Grand Prix victories. The 21-year-old Spaniard proved his worth last season by earning the 2025 Rookie of the Year title in Moto2, collecting five podiums and finishing P6 in the overall standings. He is already building on that momentum in 2026 with a win and a P3 to his name. While we are still waiting to see who will partner him, the arrival of such an exciting young talent makes the upcoming season feel that much closer.
