Mahindra has introduced an all-new series called the BE 6 SPORTEQ, marking the next evolution of its electric origin SUV by bringing together the character and technology of the BE 6 into a wider range of experiences for customers.
Alongside this fresh lineup, the manufacturer took the wraps off two distinct expressions of the SPORTEQ philosophy. The first is a top-of-the-line Launch Edition, while the second is the performance-focused Formula E Freedom Edition. Drawing directly on Mahindra Racing's Formula E programme, that top-tier variant translates the pure spirit of electric motorsport into a road-going package.
That racing pedigree is not just for show, either. This machine-inspired release lands hot on the heels of one of Mahindra Racing's most successful Formula E seasons to date, a campaign where the squad finished third in the Teams' Championship with a massive 252 points.
That stunning points haul came courtesy of Edoardo Mortara and Nyck de Vries, both drivers putting themselves firmly into the thick of the Drivers' Championship picture through a series of hard-fought victories and podiums. Most notably, the team secured a victory at the 2026 Monaco E-Prix, marking a historic first win for Mahindra Racing in the GEN3 era.
Thankfully, the ambition does not stop there. The Mahindra Racing squad is locked in to continue competing in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship as the series marches into the GEN4 era, stepping into what promises to be the championship's most exciting chapter yet.
