A brilliant weekend saw Marquez dominate with pole position, a lap record, and a Sunday win, while Bezzecchi suffered a DNF. By slashing 30 points from the lead, Marquez now sits 72 points behind. While he remains modest, claiming he is still searching for his new 100% form, the math suggests a comeback is not impossible. Davide Tardozzi, Ducati Lenovo Team manager, summed up the mood in the garage as "perfect."
Marquez is clear on his intentions, stating, "If I'm here, it's to fight." Having seen Francesco Bagnaia recover from a 91-point deficit to take the 2022 title, the precedent for such a comeback is there. For now, Marquez is focused on enjoying his racing while maintaining that signature intensity that has defined his career.
