Marc Márquez is returning to action at Mugello
It is finally happening: Marc Márquez is heading back to the paddock. The seven-time MotoGP World Champion, currently riding for the Ducati Lenovo Team, has been sidelined for the last two Grands Prix to recover from a pair of surgeries—one for his foot after a fall at Le Mans and a pre-planned shoulder procedure.
He is confirmed to travel to the circuit, but we are not quite at the finish line yet. A final trackside medical assessment on Thursday will determine if he gets the ultimate green light to race. If the doctors clear him, he will be back on his machine, rolling out of the pitlane on Friday morning for Ducati’s home Grand Prix.
