Marco Bezzecchi makes a personal apology to trackside marshal
It is not often you see a rider go beyond the expected corporate statements, but Marco Bezzecchi decided that an apology on social media was simply not enough. The Aprilia Racing rider headed trackside in Brno, intent on finding the marshal he had wronged. It was a genuinely human moment, captured during the Warm Up broadcast, as the two spoke at length, exchanged gifts, and shared several hugs.
Bezzecchi, clearly emotional throughout the encounter, is currently serving a suspension from the Czech GP and will sit out the remainder of Sunday's action. The #72 was open about his regret, acknowledging the immense effort and sacrifice that marshals put in every weekend to keep the grid safe. He was firm in his statement: "This behavior shouldn't happen and there is no justification for it."
