Marco Bezzecchi suspended from the Czech GP
It is an absolute disaster for Marco Bezzecchi. The Aprilia Racing rider has been officially suspended from the Czech GP, meaning we will not see the #72 machine on the grid this Sunday.
Following a crash during the Tissot Sprint in Brno, the situation turned ugly. According to the FIM MotoGP Stewards, Bezzecchi pushed and struck circuit marshals as they attempted to recover his motorcycle. The stewards have deemed this behavior an infringement of Article 3.3.2.2, citing actions “prejudicial to the interests of the sport.”
After conducting hearings to listen to the rider, the authorities made their decision clear. While Aprilia Racing has the right to appeal this decision within one hour of its publication, as it stands, Bezzecchi is out.
