Here's the thing, Car Blanche is making moves and they are not wasting any time. Just a day after becoming the first to confirm a 2027 entry to the WeatherTech Championship, the squad has pulled back the curtain on its full driver roster for Motul Petit Le Mans, the season finale for both the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup campaign.
Stepping into the setup is none other than Mattia Drudi, who completes the Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) lineup. He will share the No. 68 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo with Valentin Hasse Clot and Marco Sorensen at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Now, Hasse Clot brings some serious recent momentum to this garage. He previously stood on the podium alongside Marius Fossard and Trenton Estep when the team ran its renumbered No. 068 Aston Martin in Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) at the two most recent Michelin Endurance Cup rounds held at Watkins Glen International and Road America.
As for Drudi, this appearance marks his second WeatherTech Championship start of 2026. His only previous outing this year resulted in a third-place finish in Heart of Racing Team’s No. 27 Aston Martin in GTD at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, where he shared driving duties with Eduardo “Dudu” Barrichello, Tom Gamble and Zacharie Robichon.
Everything is set to unfold during the Motul Petit Le Mans weekend, running from September 30 to October 3, 2026. Official WeatherTech Championship track activity kicks off on Thursday, October 1, and it is going to be a wild machine to watch on track.
