It was pure magic at Silverstone this weekend as Alisha Palmowski delivered a masterclass on home soil. The Red Bull Racing driver executed a perfect start, immediately snatching the lead from Chiara Battig to dictate the pace of the Feature Race. Palmowski was clinical, holding firm under pressure to secure her third win of the campaign and extend her advantage at the top of the standings.
Behind her, history was being written. Chiara Battig secured an incredible second place, marking the first time a Wild Card entrant has stood on the podium and delivering Hitech’s very first piece of silverware in the series. It was a stunning performance to cap off a debut weekend that surely turned heads.
Further down the order, the racing was just as intense. Emma Felbermayr, fresh off her Reverse Grid Race win, put on an absolute rocket ship of a drive by surging from eighth on the grid to finish third. She couldn't be caught, leaving Gademan in fourth ahead of Ella Lloyd. It was a solid outing for Hitech as well, with Rachel Robertson and Ava Dobson clinching back-to-back points finishes in sixth and eighth, sandwiching Sephora driver Natalia Granada in seventh.
Further back, Megan Bruce brought her car home in ninth for TAG Heuer. Meanwhile, Alba Larsen showed real grit to snatch the final point in tenth; she clawed her way up from 13th, showing resilience even after a mid-race mistake threatened to drop her out of the points entirely.
Now, Palmowski heads into the summer break with a commanding 30-point lead over Felbermayr. It has been a wild season, but the fight is far from over. We turn our attention to the next challenge when the series heads to Circuit Zandvoort on August 21-23.
