Pedro Acosta undergoes successful right wrist surgery
It is a massive relief to report that Pedro Acosta has successfully undergone surgery on his right wrist to address Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider was forced to retire from the Dutch GP on Sunday after struggling with persistent pain and numbness in his hand, a frustrating issue he has been battling for over a year.
After heading under the knife this Tuesday, the focus now shifts to his recovery. We expect to see him back on the machine for the upcoming German GP at the Sachsenring, held between July 10th and 12th. Naturally, he still faces a mandatory medical check during Thursday’s media day to confirm his fitness for Round 11 of the season.
