Ross Brawn joins the board of Pramac Racing
It is honestly difficult to process: Ross Brawn, the mastermind behind 22 world titles, is officially heading to MotoGP. Pramac Racing Limited announced that Brawn has joined their Board of Directors, where he will serve as a strategic advisor to Team Principal Paolo Campinoti. This is a massive acquisition of talent for the team, bringing over four decades of unparalleled experience to their inner circle.
Looking at Brawn's resume, you see a career that defines the pinnacle of racing. From his days as technical director at Benetton and his legendary run overseeing the Schumacher years at Ferrari, to the absolute madness of guiding BrawnGP to a world title with Jenson Button in 2009, he has seen it all. He even served as managing director and technical director for Formula One Management until 2022.
Campinoti is understandably thrilled, citing a long-standing friendship and deep respect for Brawn’s legendary winning mentality. For his part, Brawn is clear about the new challenge. "Motorsport has always been about people, teamwork and continuous improvement," he noted as he prepares for this move into a new chapter of his career with Pramac.
