Sébastien Bourdais strikes back at Le Mans FP4

Sébastien Bourdais reminded everyone why he is a local hero at the Circuit de la Sarthe. In the final practice session before race day, the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA driver punched in a 3m26.843s lap, a stunning statement for the team after their Hyperpole 2 penalty. It was a beautiful piece of driving, proving that the #38 machine is a serious threat for the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Bourdais wasn't the only one finding pace, as his team-mate Norman Nato pushed his own Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA entry to fourth. Between them, we saw Robin Frijns go quick in the #20 BMW, and Mike Conway briefly hold the top spot in the #7 Toyota TR010 Hybrid. It was a proper session of work, with teams finalizing their tire strategies for the third round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Down in the other classes, Ben Barnicoat put the #183 AF Corse Oreca-Gibson on top in LMP2 with a 3m36.119s, while the #33 TF Sport Corvette found a much-needed boost in LMGT3. Nicky Catsburg set the pace there, leading the sister #34 Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette. Everyone is now looking toward Saturday, when the warm-up kicks off at 12.00 local time before the main event begins at 16.00 CEST.
