Tech3 have announced that Senna Agius will join the squad starting next season as the premier class heads into a completely new era of technical regulations. This means the 22-strong grid is now fully set for a history-making campaign.
It is a massive step up for the young Australian, whose rise through the ranks has been nothing short of impressive. After finishing as runner-up in the Moto2 European Championship in 2022 and taking the crown the following year, he stepped up to the Moto2 World Championship for 2024 and instantly landed on the podium in his rookie year. Since then, he has built a reputation as a leading talent in the class by claiming multiple victories and podium finishes.
His arrival completes Tech3's rider line-up, slotting him in alongside Luca Marini. The pairing brings a blend of youth and experience to the garage as Tech3 continues its partnership with KTM and tackles the next generation of MotoGP machinery.
Reflecting on the milestone, Senna Agius said: "Today, a lifelong dream of mine has come true: reaching MotoGP. Tech3 CEO Guenther Steiner highlighted the qualities that convinced the squad to make the move, stating: "We believe Senna has the qualities to make a very strong step into MotoGP.
