The magic of Mugello
It is impossible not to fall in love with Tuscany, and the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello is the perfect heartbeat of that region. Building a circuit directly into such a dramatic landscape was a stroke of genius. It is a stunning sight when the riders break from over 350km/h for the San Donato corner, with the mountains waiting right there to greet them.
This track is a masterclass in design. Celebrating its 50th year of operation, the layout remains exactly as it was created, flowing perfectly with the natural undulations of the land. At over 5km long, it is widely considered one of the most beautiful places to race. Whether it is for the fans or the TV directors, it is simply a joy to watch these machines tackle such a timeless challenge.
If you find yourself in the area for MotoGP, the journey is just as much a part of the experience as the racing. Florence is a must-see for its history and architecture, while Bologna offers an incredible culinary landscape that you have to experience to believe. Italy knows how to host a show, and this circuit remains the pinnacle of it all.
