The Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy returns to the 6 Hours of Silverstone
It is finally happening. The 6 Hours of Silverstone is returning to the FIA World Endurance Championship calendar on 23-25 April 2027, and it is bringing the most beautiful prize in motorsport back with it. The winners of this round will be presented with the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy, a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance sculpture and 18-carat gold that represents the very soul of racing.
This is not just any trophy; it is the oldest in the world, born on the Isle of Man in 1905. To see it return to the ‘Home of British Motorsport’—a venue that has hosted it more than any other since the 1970s—is a moment of pure, unadulterated history. With 14 major brands already on the grid and the likes of Ford and McLaren joining the Hypercar and LMGT3 classes, the competition at Silverstone will be as fierce as it has ever been.
