That dramatic sequence leaves the Invicta Racing driver sitting at the summit of the standings on 181 points. He holds a razor-thin advantage of just one point over Nikola Tsolov, who unfortunately failed to finish the first feature race of the weekend.
Meanwhile, the Rodin garage had even more reason to celebrate as Martinius Stenshorne completed a magnificent 1-2 finish. He had to fight his way back through the pack after losing out during the Safety Car and pit stop window, proving the sheer pace of the car. Rounding out the podium was Dino Beganovic, who added yet another trophy to his record by taking third for DAMS Lucas Oil, fresh off winning the Sprint Race earlier in the day.
