Yes, that Hauger—the very same driver who earned the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Rookie of the Year honors during his debut campaign with Dale Coyne Racing.
At just 23 years old, the Norwegian talent has built an impressive resume. Before breaking into the American open-wheel scene, he tore through the European ranks by capturing the 2019 Italian Formula 4 championship and the 2021 FIA Formula 3 title, later adding five wins in Formula 2 and spending time as a longtime member of the Red Bull Junior Team. When he touched down in the United States for the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season with Andretti Global, he made an immediate impact by dominating with six victories and the championship.

Hauger will take the wheel of the No. 14 Homes For Our Troops Chevrolet, carrying a livery backed by partners like Hendricks Holding Company. He expressed genuine excitement about the squad's trajectory. "This team has so much history in this sport, but what intrigues me even more was hearing about the future and what they're building now," Hauger said.
Before the 2027 preparations kick into high gear, Hauger will make his first public appearance with his new outfit on October 2 at the GM Defense Valor & Velocity Gala at the GM Design Dome in Warren, Michigan. The event supports the Medal of Honor Foundation and brings together senior GM leadership, military figures, Diane Hendricks and Konya Hendricks Schuh of Hendricks Holding Company Inc., alongside retired U.S. Army generals Richard A. Cody and Tom Landwermeyer representing Homes For Our Troops—an organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
