Here is a wild machine to look out for this weekend: Aston Martin have just pulled the cover off a special livery that will run on their car at the United States Grand Prix in Austin. It is a stunning, one-off design put together to celebrate a major milestone. The team is marking five full years of partnership with Cognizant.
To put it into perspective, this relationship kicked off back in 2021 just as Aston Martin made its grand return to Formula 1 following their takeover of the former Racing Point squad. Things have evolved quite a bit since then, especially with Cognizant stepping up to become the team's Global AI Services Partner earlier this year. Now, the AMR26 is getting a visual overhaul in Austin to honour that journey.
Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin, did not hide his pride in reaching this point. "Cognizant has been part of our journey since Aston Martin returned to Formula 1 in 2021, and we're incredibly proud to celebrate five years of partnership together," he stated.
Stroll also pointed out how much both organisations have transformed over the last half-decade while keeping their shared ambition intact. "A great partnership is one that continues to evolve. Over the past five years, both our organisations have changed considerably, but our shared ambition and desire to keep pushing forward have remained constant," he explained.
Ultimately, this bespoke look is meant as a direct nod to everyone involved behind the scenes. "The special livery in Austin is our way of celebrating that journey. It's a visible thank you to Cognizant and its people for five years of partnership, while looking ahead to an exciting next chapter together," Stroll added.
