The 2026 Formula 1 season rolls on to Sao Paulo for the 20th round of the campaign, and Kimi Antonelli touches down in Brazil carrying the ultimate crown. A third-place finish last weekend in Mexico City sealed the deal, making the Italian the youngest World Champion in F1 history. But do not expect him to cruise. He is hunting down more silverware to add to his nine wins from this championship-winning run.
There is more heavy metal silverware on the line this weekend too. Mercedes can lock down the Constructors' Championship in Brazil. Even so, the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari are lurking to ruin the party after putting in strong performances last weekend in Mexico.
The battle on track unfolds at the legendary Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, universally known as Interlagos. This circuit has been a fixture since 1990, minus its 2020 absence during COVID. With its high-speed corners, flowing undulations, long main straight, and prime overtaking real estate into Turn 1, it remains an absolute favourite for both drivers and fans.

To make matters wilder, the weather forecast points straight to rain at various points of the weekend, keeping with the tradition of classic wet races at this venue. Friday's practice could see heavy rain mostly in the morning, Saturday threatens thunderstorms all day long, and Sunday's grand prix carries a risk of lighter rain as well.
Track action kicks off with Free Practice 1 at 12:30 local time on Friday, 6 November, followed by Free Practice 2 at 16:00. Saturday, 7 November brings the final hour of practice at 11:30 before Qualifying fires up at 15:00. The grand prix itself goes green at 14:00 on Sunday, 8 November.
