The season finale is finally here, and it all comes down to this. The NASCAR Cup Series wraps up its 2026 campaign with a trip to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, with coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, HBO Max, MRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. This championship showdown marks the 10th and final Chase presented by Mobil 1 contest of the year, serving as the 36th points-paying event overall.
Kyle Larson arrives as the defending Homestead winner, having taken victory there previously on March 23, 2025. Despite suffering through what he called an “average day” at Martinsville Speedway, Larson still holds a comfortable 67-point cushion at the top of The Chase standings as the garage rolls into Florida.
Only two other drivers remain in the hunt for the title. Christopher Bell sits minus-67 behind the leader, while Denny Hamlin is positioned at minus-70. Both Joe Gibbs Racing drivers are hunting for their very first Cup Series championship. Meanwhile, Larson is looking to clinch his third title, which would make him the first back-to-back champion since Jimmie Johnson managed his legendary streak of five consecutive titles from 2006 to 2010.

Forty race cars are entered into this weekend's massive event to sort out the final order of the 2026 campaign.
