Here's the thing about building momentum in the junior categories: stability is everything. Pedro Clerot has secured just that, locking in a return with Rodin Motorsport for the 2027 season in FIA Formula 3.
His rookie campaign with the squad was nothing short of a statement. The 19-year-old Brazilian charged his way to sixth in the Drivers' Championship, backed by a clean sweep of five podiums that culminated in a stunning Feature Race 1 victory at the final round in Madrid.
We’re delighted to continue our relationship with Pedro for another season in FIA Formula 3,
Before stepping into that machine, Clerot laid down serious groundwork by claiming the 2022 Brazilian F4 title and taking fourth in the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship. Staying put means he keeps working in an environment where he already feels at home.
“I’m very happy to be staying with Rodin for my second year in FIA F3,” said Clerot. “We’ve built a really strong relationship this season and achieved some great results, improving race after race. I’ve felt at home with the team since day one, so continuing this journey together is very special. I believe we have what it takes to fight at the front next season, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
Rodin Motorsport Sporting Director Benn Huntingford shared that enthusiasm, pointing to the upward trajectory the team witnessed over the past year.
“We’re delighted to continue our relationship with Pedro for another season in FIA Formula 3,” Huntingford added. “He’s really impressed the team this year, showing strong pace and making great progress throughout the season. To see him take his maiden win in Madrid was a fantastic way to end the year and a result that reflects the progress he’s made. We’re looking forward to building on that next season and seeing what we can achieve together.”
