Sting Ray Robb is locked in for a second consecutive year with Juncos Hollinger Racing, returning to the Chevrolet-powered program for the 2026 NTT IndyCar SERIES season to partner alongside Rinus VeeKay. This retention locks down vital continuity for the squad as they look to build directly on the forward momentum established through 2025.
Robb's previous campaign featured a season-best ninth-place finish at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, where he also managed to lead a notable 12 laps around the California street circuit. The 23-year-old Idaho native previously took the 2020 Indy Pro Championship alongside this very team, returning to the fold in 2025 to bring valuable technical feedback and professionalism that helped push the operation toward greater consistency and pace.
Team principal Dave O'Neill views the returning driver as a fundamental block for their upcoming campaign. “Sting Ray is a key pillar in the structure we’re building for 2026,” O’Neill said. “His commitment and approach match the ambition driving this team forward. We took meaningful steps this year, but we know there’s far more potential to unlock and 2026 is our chance to convert that progress into real performance gains.”
For Robb, the value lies squarely in uninterrupted progress. “This season is massive for me, and I'm embracing it fully,” he stated. “It's my first opportunity to run with the same team for a second season and I'm ready for what it demands. The key for me is the continuity – working with the established team people and the newer faces we all trust, with everyone focused on elevating across all areas.” He also highlighted the leadership of Dave O’Neill, the insight of engineer Adam Carroll, and the six seasons of experience brought by teammate Rinus VeeKay.
The newly solidified driver lineup pairs Robb's familiarity with the JHR program alongside VeeKay's established experience, setting the stage for the team's next competitive leap. The 2026 season officially kicks off on March 1 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
