The 2027 MotoGP calendar has landed, and it brings a massive 22 Grands Prix spanning across five continents from March to November. This record-setting season sets the stage for a brand-new era of racing machines, taking the championship to five continents and dropping in two brand-new venues along the way.
The first major addition is Buenos Aires, cementing the sport's footprint in South America. Before arriving at the Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez for Round 4, the championship makes stops for a Season Launch in Rio de Janeiro and a visit to Goiânia for Round 3. South America is getting a serious slice of the action.
Then there is the much-anticipated debut at the Adelaide Street Circuit. South Australia takes on the penultimate Grand Prix of the year as Round 21, throwing the grid into the heart of the city for a truly unique setting where championship glory will likely hang in the balance.
The global journey kicks off with the Season Launch at Botafogo Beach in Rio de Janeiro, before Buriram opens the competitive action for Round 1. From there, the championship heads to the floodlights of the Lusail International Circuit for Round 2, back to Brazil for Goiânia, up to Buenos Aires for Round 4, and concludes the first leg at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.
Leg two rolls into the classic European heartland. Jerez, Le Mans, Mugello for Round 8, Barcelona, and the TT Circuit Assen all feature before the Sachsenring hosts the German round in mid-July. Brno leads into the summer break, after which Silverstone, the Red Bull Ring, Misano, MotorLand, and a moved-up Portimão round out the European stops in early October.
The final leg takes the circus through Asia, Oceania, and back to Europe. Mobility Resort Motegi brings heavy braking, followed by Sepang for Round 19 in Kuala Lumpur and Mandalika on the island of Lombok. That leaves only the final two rounds: Adelaide's debut as the penultimate clash, and the traditional finale at Valencia on the 28th of November to close out the massive campaign.
