Here is the twist nobody wanted for Saturday's NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Mother Nature stepped in and wiped out both practice and qualifying due to inclement weather. That means the grid for the Blue Cross NC 300 was decided entirely by NASCAR’s metric.
Taking pole position on the front row is Carson Kvapil. Joining him right up there at the very front will be Corey Day.
Rounding out the rest of the top five spots on the starting grid are Jesse Love in third, Brent Crews in fourth, and Sam Mayer taking fifth.

Despite the weather interference bringing a sudden halt to track time before the green flag drops, Saturday’s Blue Cross NC 300 remains firmly scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action live on broadcast and radio channels including The CW, ESPN Unlimited, PRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
