Here's the thing: the national series are heading west for a massive weekend at Phoenix Raceway as The Chase presented by Mobil 1 enters its final four races across all three divisions. That is right, we are down to the wire. Phoenix marks the second of five straight tripleheader weekends designed to close out the 2026 season. And for the first time since 2019, the 1-mile Arizona oval is not hosting the Cup Series season finale, with that honor having shifted to Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The action kicks off under the lights on Friday night with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, running on five total sets of tires, featuring three new sets for the race, one for practice, and one for qualifying that transfers to the race. You can catch the broadcast on FS1 starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Saturday night brings the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series to the track at 7:30 p.m. ET, broadcast live on The CW. They will also be working with five total sets of tires—three new ones for the race, plus individual sets for practice and qualifying.
Then comes the main event on Sunday. The NASCAR Cup Series takes center stage at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network. The premier division machinery will be handed a beefier tire allotment, with eleven total sets available: eight brand new sets for the race itself, two designated for practice, and one for qualifying that carries over into the race.
With the championship battle narrowing down and the schedule deep into its intense tripleheader stretch, every single lap on the Arizona asphalt carries immense weight.
