Here is the news, as Motorsport.com Italia reports: Toprak Razgatlioglu has successfully undergone surgery in Milan to fix a right shoulder injury. The setback stems from a serious crash during the Indonesian Grand Prix race weekend.
Unfortunately, the damage forced the Prima Pramac Racing rider to pull out of Sunday's race. Subsequent medical evaluations made it clear that an operation was unavoidable, sealing the fate of his campaign. It was confirmed that the Turkish rider would miss the remainder of the 2026 season aboard his Yamaha machine to focus entirely on rehabilitation.
The procedure took place on Monday, October 26, in Milan. Razgatlioglu later took to social media to share the positive news of a successful surgery, showing early signs of recovery.
Reflecting on the premature end to his year, the rider noted, "A volte possono accadere cose inaspettate".
He concluded with a message of gratitude: "Spero che saremo sulla moto il prima possibile. It has undeniably been a much tougher debut year in MotoGP than he had hoped for.
