As FormulaUno.it reports, Scuderia Ferrari is bringing a striking visual makeover to the United Station Grand Prix at Austin, where the SF-26 machines of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will sport an exceptional design. This special livery exists to honor the creative and engineering journey behind a Formula 1 car, putting the spotlight on the rigorous development work that happens long before a machine ever turns a wheel in public. Built in close partnership with Title Partner HP, the project bridges Maranello's distinct aesthetic research with advanced printing and materials technology.
The entire concept draws its inspiration from the exact moment an automobile begins its life: a single stroke drawn across a blank sheet of paper. The livery weaves in visual elements that echo technical drawings, sketches, and graphic details pulled straight from design blueprints and CAD models. Usually, these crucial visual components stay locked away inside design departments or hidden completely beneath the bodywork. Here, they take center stage on the asphalt in Austin, paying tribute to the sheer graft put in by designers, engineers, and technicians alike.
Pulling this off demanded intense integration between the racing outfit's departments and the specialists at HP. Extensive testing sessions ensured the high-precision graphics could adapt to the complex aerodynamic geometries of the SF-26 without compromising the strict performance constraints and technical rules required for a race weekend. To recreate these intricate design details across the surfaces of the cars, the teams utilized HP Latex printing technology, cementing the ongoing technological partnership between the two companies.

Silvia Cavallaro, Head of Color and Trim at Ferrari, offered insight into the artistic and conceptual meaning behind the project: “This livery celebrates the path that takes an idea to reality. Every Ferrari is born from creativity, sketches, and engineering expertise long before arriving on the track. Thanks to the collaboration with HP, we managed to give visual shape to this process and tell a story that highlights the craftsmanship and innovation that hide behind every performance“.
