With the 2026 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship campaign wrapped up, the biggest names in the motorcycle world are packing their bags for Milan. They are heading straight to the EICMA motorcycle exposition, which promises to be bigger and better than ever. The International Two-Wheeler Exhibition has grown to record heights, taking over ten exhibition halls at the state-of-the-art Fiera Milano Rho from November 3rd to November 8th, 2026, and featuring 2,120 brands from 52 countries.
That exhibition floor is going to be packed with top-tier talent. Fresh off the 2026 season, World Champion Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) and his teammate Iker Lecuona will be there, alongside third-place Riders' Championship finisher Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) and two-time World Champion teammate Alvaro Bautista. Local fans will also get to see top Yamaha rider Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and the 2026 campaign's top rookie Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing) in their native Italy. GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK teammates Remy Gardner and Stefano Manzi will join independent riders Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven) and Tommy Bridewell (Superbikes Advocates) at the event.
This is the true meaning of 'Always the first time': coming back here and still feeling as though it were your very first visit.
The star power stretches across other championships too. WorldSSP's 2026 World Champion Albert Arenas is joined by the ZXMOTO duo of runner-up Valentin Debise (EASTROC ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) and Federico Caricasulo, plus 2026 WorldSPB Champion Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) and WorldWCR riders Emily Bondi (FT Racing Academy) and Denise Dal Zotto (PATA AG Motorsport Italia). But current grids are only part of the story.
Indeed, WorldSBK heroes from eras past will also step back into the spotlight. Icons such as three-time WorldSBK Champion Troy Baylis, 20-time WorldSBK race winner Marco Melandri, and the first-ever Spanish WorldSBK race winner and 2003 runner-up Ruben Xaus will don their leathers once again to duel on track on Saturday and Sunday at the MotoLive racing arena in the Champions Charity Race.
With over 754 exhibitors lined up, the 2026 edition of EICMA is shaping up to be its most global showcase yet, with 74% of the brands arriving from outside of Italy. Pietro Meda, President of EICMA, highlighted the sheer scale and spirit of the gathering. "Every edition of EICMA brings something new, but above all, it retains its unique ability to inspire excitement," Meda stated. "This is the true meaning of 'Always the first time': coming back here and still feeling as though it were your very first visit."
Meda continued, noting the collaborative spirit behind the numbers: "The figures for the 2026 edition reflect a strong, international and comprehensive exhibition, but behind these achievements lies a global community of businesses, professionals, media and hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts. Our mission is to continue providing them with a place that can surprise and engage, inspire younger generations, build relationships, promote a culture of mobility and generate value for the industry, while improving the quality of the visitor experience year after year."
