Here's the thing about finding your footing in single-seaters: continuity is everything, and Enzo Deligny has just secured plenty of it. Van Amersfoort Racing has officially confirmed that the Frenchman will stay with the squad for his second FIA Formula 3 campaign in 2027, locking in a crucial piece of continuity for the upcoming year.
Deligny's debut season yielded 16th place in the Drivers' Championship, but the real highlight came right out of the gate in Melbourne. He grabbed a podium on his very first weekend, taking second in the Sprint Race, and backed that up over the course of the year with a further two top five finishes and seven top 10 results.
Reflecting on the announcement, Deligny made it clear that comfort and timing played a massive role in his decision to stay put. “I'm really happy to be continuing with VAR for 2027. After joining the team late this season, I immediately felt very comfortable and we’ve built a strong relationship. I’m really looking forward to starting next year together and showing what we can achieve. Having stability by staying with this great team will help me perform next year. I can't wait,” he said.
VAR Team Principal Brad Joyce echoed that sentiment, pointing to the value of a full year of experience inside the championship. “We’re pleased to continue our collaboration with Enzo for another season. He made a very strong start to his FIA Formula 3 career in Melbourne, finishing second in the Sprint Race on his debut weekend. He has now gained a full year of experience in the championship, and working with him throughout the season has given us the opportunity to see his talent up close. That experience and continuity are important as we look to build on what we started in 2026 and push for stronger results in 2027,” Joyce added.
