Look, I know we are always looking ahead, but the FIA Formula 3 Championship has already laid out the blueprint for how the 2026 season will officially wind down. We are talking about two crucial post-season tests across Spain to close out the year and give us a very early glance at the future.
The action kicks off down south at the Circuito de Jerez. Teams and drivers will hit the track there for a two-day test running from October 20 to October 21.
Once the running at Jerez wraps up, the entire paddock will pack up and head straight for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. That venue will host the final two days of on-track action for the 2026 calendar, taking place on October 26 and 27.
For those of us tracking every single lap from home, the championship has confirmed that live blogs will run on the official FIA Formula 3 website. You can also expect end-of-day session reports and interviews as the engineering debriefs finish up.
Behind-the-scenes coverage will roll out across social media channels throughout each test day. It all serves one ultimate purpose, of course: the moment the chequered flag falls in Barcelona, the hard work begins immediately as everyone starts preparing for the 2027 campaign.
