That iconic green and yellow "Grello" machine is getting a striking makeover for the end of the year. Manthey is officially swapping its famous colors for a bold orange scheme on the No. 911 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) to wrap up the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for Motul Petit Le Mans.
There is a brilliant lineup change accompanying this special look for the team's fifth outing in its IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup program. Mathieu Jaminet, fresh off claiming the 2025 WeatherTech Championship GTP title, makes a much-anticipated return to IMSA competition. Jaminet previously captured the 2025 IMSA and 2022 IMSA GTD PRO crowns alongside Matt Campbell.
For this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Jaminet steps into the Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) machine to share the No. 911 with Thomas Preining and Klaus Bachler, standing in for Ricardo Feller. Meanwhile, Campbell is also making his own IMSA return for his final scheduled appearance with Porsche Penske Motorsport, teaming up with Kevin Estre and the returning Laurens Vanthoor in the No. 6 Porsche 963.
The stunning visual shift has a deeper purpose behind it. According to a Manthey social post, the team is borrowing the signature orange from partner Viessmann to run alongside its 30 Years special streamline livery for one race weekend.
It is all part of a powerful initiative to raise awareness for a cause that affects millions worldwide. With Bachler, Jaminet, and Thomas Preining driving every lap, partner @Viessmann will donate 50.000,00€ to the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and Austin Hatcher Foundation.
As the team stated in their announcement, they are using the platform of motorsport to support organizations that fight for something far more important than trophies.
