Here's the thing, racing weekends at a 1.5-mile track are always intense, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway is ready to host both the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series as their Chases presented by Mobil 1 heat up.
For the NASCAR Cup Series, this weekend marks Race 5 of the Chase and stands as the second of three consecutive races on intermediate tracks. The machines will be working with eleven total sets of tires, broken down into eight new sets for the race itself, two sets for practice, and a single set for qualifying that transfers over to the race. Sunday's race day action kicks off at 5:30 p.m. ET, with coverage broadcast on USA Network and HBO Max.
Meanwhile, the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series is back in action for the fourth round out of its nine Chase races. These competitors get six total sets of tires to manage, featuring four new sets for the race, one for practice, and one for qualifying that also transfers directly to the race. Their race day goes down on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET, with fans able to catch the broadcast on The CW and ESPN Unlimited.
It is all set up for a massive weekend of intermediate track battles, so keep an eye out as the entry lists, practice results, starting lineups, pit stalls, and stage results roll in.
