That said, the national series are heading to Talladega Superspeedway for a pivotal weekend as The Chase presented by Mobil 1 enters its final three races across all three divisions. At 2.66 miles, NASCAR's longest oval adds an unpredictable wrinkle to the championship picture, with seven Cup drivers separated by just 56 points atop The Chase standings.
The action opens Friday with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, followed by the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday and the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday. Talladega marks the third of five straight tripleheader weekends to close the 2026 season.
For the premier Cup division, race day arrives on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. Teams will have seven total sets of tires available, consisting of six new sets for the race and one for qualifying that transfers to the race.
The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series takes to the track Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on The CW. Their tire allocation features four total sets, split into three new sets for the race and one for qualifying that transfers over.
Finally, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series gets things started Friday at 4 p.m. ET on FS1. The truck field will similarly rely on four total sets of tires, with three new sets for the race and one for qualifying that moves to the race.
