Here's the thing, when a driver absolutely tears through a junior category, you know the single-seater ladder is about to come calling. That is precisely what has happened for James Egozi, with LN4 Fusion locking him down as their very first driver signing for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.
Egozi arrives at the newly formed team on the back of an absolute masterclass of a year. He kicked off the previous campaign by taking second place in the Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship. But that was just the warm-up act for a stunning display of pure speed and consistency.
The American completely bossed the Eurocup-3 title fight, wrapping it up with two full rounds to spare. When the dust settled on that campaign, his trophy cabinet boasted eight race wins and a staggering 12 podium finishes in total.
Now, he takes the massive step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship. It is a brilliant challenge, and Egozi made no secret of his excitement to link up with the fresh operation. "I am truly grateful to the entire Team for giving me the opportunity to join such an exciting project with LN4 Fusion," Egozi said. "I'm ready to continue my development as a driver, and I am hungrier than ever for the 2027 FIA F3 season."
From the management side, the belief in their new American charger is absolute. LN4 Fusion Chief Executive Officer Dan Richards made it clear just how high they rate his potential and his recent dominance.
