Here is a wild twist for the calendar: Red Bull is stepping up as the title sponsor for the 2026 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island. This arrangement is part of a broader partnership connecting Red Bull to MotoGP in Australia, which also secures their title sponsorship of the Australian Grand Prix when the championship moves to Adelaide starting in 2027 and continuing into 2028.
That said, next weekend's event carries a heavy wave of nostalgia. It marks the final visit of MotoGP to Phillip Island before the grand prix relocates the following year, closing out an iconic chapter for the sport. To properly celebrate both this farewell at Phillip Island and Red Bull's debut as an Australian Grand Prix title sponsor, spectators can expect a slate of fan experiences and displays. The standout attraction will be a special aerobatic display courtesy of Red Bull Air Race World Champion, Matt Hall.
