Here's the thing about racing: sometimes the sweetest victories come right when the machine is running on fumes. Trotta Racing is still deep in celebration mode after dominating the race at San Nicolás, locking out the top two steps of the podium with Ignacio Fain and Facundo Chapur.
Led by Esteban Trotta, the squad left the circuit with massive joy over their on-track dominance. But the celebration goes beyond just one Sunday. With Facundo Chapur already taking a previous win, the team from Córdoba now leads the Copa de Oro with just three rounds left in the championship. Impressively, two of their three cars are firmly in the title fight.

Unfortunately, the euphoria tells only half the story. Behind the scenes, the economic reality is brutal. The budget crunch has hit the team hard, forcing them to make difficult compromises that would shock any outsider. “The truth is we are going through a very difficult economic moment and we needed this triumph because of how tight we are. With Facu we didn't test all year because we couldn't afford it and my family knows very well what I am talking about,” Esteban pointed out.
Despite the financial strain, the pride in what the team is achieving remains untouchable. The boss views the current results as a massive mental boost, driving everyone to push even harder to stay competitive in the fiercely contested Turismo Carretera series. “What has been done is an important motivational blow. We have to keep going with all our strength to be able to stay in a super competitive TC,” he stated.
Passion is the fuel keeping this operation alive. Trotta, his family, and the entire crew work tirelessly to face every challenge the championship throws their way, pouring their hearts into a sport they deeply love. Even with advertising and sponsorship issues making life complicated, the commitment from the top is absolute. “Although we are complicated with advertising, I am going to give it everything I have to be able to fight until the end,” the Trotta Racing head concluded.
