The driver from Villa Minetti put on an absolute masterclass at San Nicolás, topping the final practice session before charging to his very first pole position in Turismo Carretera aboard the Torino prepared by Trotta Racing. Absolutely stunning work from the young machine.
Now, the grid is locked in for Sunday's heat races, which kick off at 10:55 hours and will be broadcast on Canal 9. Faín will anchor the front row of the first series alongside Diego Azar.
Looking down the line for the remaining battles, the second series puts Matías Rossi and Otto Fritzler on the front row. Meanwhile, the final battery lines up with Facundo Chapur and Julián Santero leading the charge from row one.
The full grids for Sunday morning are set with right-side rope starts. Series one features Azar and Faín on row one, followed by Urcera and Werner on row two, Risatti and Gianini on row three, Aguirre and Spataro on row four, Craparo and Ebarlín on row five, Palazzo and Moscardini on row six, Barrio and Ferrante on row seven, Fontana and Trosset on row eight, and Impiombato alongside Jalaf on row nine.
Over in series two, Rossi and Fritzler take the pole row, backed by Dianda and Ledesma on row two, Castellano and Trucco on row three, Ardusso and Quijada on row four, Agrelo and Lugón on row five, Jakos and Chansard on row six, Todino and Candela on row seven, Carinelli and Castro on row eight, and Abella with De Carlo on row nine.
Finally, the third series launches with Chapur and Santero on the front row.
