Here is the thing about racing: it is not just built on the asphalt of a circuit, but in the classrooms and workshops where the next generation of mechanics and engineers learn their craft. Now, ACTC Educación and the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) – Facultad Regional San Nicolás have taken a fresh step toward strengthening technical education by signing a collaboration agreement to develop future joint actions.
The signing ceremony brought together key figures to establish a framework for cooperation. Facundo Gil Bicella, Secretary General, represented ACTC, while Ing. Tomás Avetta, Dean of the UTN, signed on behalf of the university. The accord aims to generate brand new training opportunities, exchanges, and educational proposals tied directly to the automotive industry and motorsport.
This partnership doesn't stand alone. It builds upon ongoing work that ACTC Educación carries out alongside various educational institutions across the country. In fact, they also maintain an agreement with the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional – Facultad Regional General Pacheco, focusing on specialization in engineering, mechanics, and motorsport. These ties form part of a broader strategy to bridge the gap between academia and the automotive sector.
Following the signing, Dean Tomás Avetta offered a clear perspective on the milestone: “The agreement that was signed has to do with leaving recorded, in an administrative way, what has been worked on for three years; it is a mere formality. It allows us, in the future, to continue down this path with concrete actions. To do training courses, diploma courses, and with a specific agreement. It is a formal act, but it gives us the foot to continue working.”
