Here is something wild for the racing faithful: a real, breathing Turismo Carretera machine is heading straight into an institutional energy summit. Next Tuesday, October 13, the province of Córdoba will host its third Foro de Biocombustibles y Bioenergías, and the machine making an appearance is none other than the Ford Mustang of Turismo Carretera driver Ricardo “Caito” Risatti.
Organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services through the Secretariat of Energy Transition and its Directorate of Biofuels and Bioenergies, the event aims to push the province's strategic momentum toward sustainable infrastructure and bioenergy. It is scheduled to take place inside the SUM at the Escuela Lino Spilimbergo, located within the Ciudad de las Artes on Avenida Richieri 1955, bringing together specialists, public and private sector representatives, academics, students, and key figures in the field.
Alongside the stunning Ford Mustang, both Ricardo “Caito” Risatti (the driver hailing from Laboulaye) and Engineer Javier Ciabattari will be present at the venue to take part in the showcase.
It makes absolute sense for Córdoba, easily one of the most passionate racing regions in Argentina, to blend its deep motorsport roots with the wider push for sustainable energy. The province is already living and breathing Turismo Carretera this season. Following the sixth round of the calendar earlier this year at the Autódromo Oscar Cabalén in Alta Gracia, the country's most popular racing series is gearing up for a massive return to Río Cuarto this November, ending a 14-year absence at that circuit.
