Brad Keselowski is set to speak directly to the press on Saturday morning at Martinsville Speedway. The announcement arrived via social media on Tuesday, setting up what promises to be a telling session at the track.
The 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion currently pilots the No. 6 Ford for RFK Racing, an organization where he also serves as a co-owner. Back on Sept. 29, Keselowski and RFK Racing revealed that their relationship will conclude at the end of the season, bringing his five-year driving contract to a close and removing him from the No. 6 Ford.
“The outpouring of support and interest in my future racing plans over the past few weeks has been truly humbling. From the bottom of my heart, thank you,” Keselowski said in a statement. “I know there are still questions, and I plan to address several of them during my press conference Saturday morning at Martinsville Speedway. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, encouragement and continued support. It means more than you know.”
While detailed plans for the 2027 season remain unannounced, Keselowski has made it clear that he intends to keep driving in NASCAR. A report by Sports Business Journal on Oct. 23 revealed that he previously made a bid to buy RFK Racing in full, though that offer was turned down by co-owners Jack Roush’s Roush Enterprises and Fenway Sports Group.

Statistically, the Michigan native sits as a 36-time winner in the Cup Series, placing him 25th all-time right ahead of two-time champion and current points leader Kyle Larson. Coming into Sunday’s Xfinity 500, Keselowski holds the 19th position in the points standings.
Fans looking to tune in can catch the press conference live on NASCAR.com/PressPass at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, ahead of Sunday's race broadcast.
