Here is something wild: for the first time in the history of the award, Comcast has named two individuals to share the honor as co-champions. Kyle Busch and Greg Biffle have been announced as the 2026 Comcast Community Champions of the Year, celebrating the profound impact both made and the enduring legacies of their causes, families, and communities.
Established back in 2015, the Comcast Community Champion of the Year Award recognizes individuals within the NASCAR community who show an exceptional commitment to giving back. This year, Comcast is honoring Busch and Biffle for two distinct examples of service; one focused on helping families navigate infertility and another rooted in answering the call when communities faced crisis.
Kyle and Greg represented what this award stands for, using their platforms to make a difference well beyond the sport,
Busch and his wife, Samantha, founded The Bundle of Joy Fund following their own experience with infertility, turning a deeply personal journey into a mission to help others. The organization provides financial assistance to families pursuing fertility treatment while bringing greater visibility and understanding to the issue. Since its inception, The Bundle of Joy Fund has awarded more than $2.5 million in fertility grants to nearly 200 families, helping welcome 114 babies.
Biffle’s commitment to helping others was equally evident through a hands-on approach to community service, most notably following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Using his personal helicopter, Biffle spent 14 consecutive days flying into impacted areas to reach residents who had been stranded by the storm and support rescue efforts. That commitment continues through the Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund, created to preserve the values and community-minded spirit Greg and Cristina embodied, working in partnership with Foundation For The Carolinas.

"Kyle and Greg represented what this award stands for, using their platforms to make a difference well beyond the sport," said Matt Lederer, Vice President of Brand Partnerships & Engagement, Comcast. To support these efforts, Comcast will award a total of $120,000, splitting the funds evenly with $60,000 benefiting The Bundle of Joy Fund and $60,000 benefiting the Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund.
For more than a decade, the Comcast Community Champion of the Year program has highlighted the contributions NASCAR community members make beyond competition, donating more than $1 million to nonprofit organizations since its inception. By naming Busch and Biffle the program’s first-ever co-champions, Comcast celebrates not only what they accomplished, but the vital work that continues in their names.
