Here is the thing, Turismo Carretera has not raced at the Martín Miguel de Güemes circuit in 16 years, but that might just change. The last time the category visited the track was on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Now, movement is happening behind the scenes.
Fernando Miori, general manager of Asociación Corredores Turismo Carretera, alongside Roberto Argento, director of circuit works and planning for ACTC, made the trip to the city of Salta on a Tuesday. They headed there specifically because of an official request that arrived directly from the province.
After arriving, the pair inspected the entire facility and walked the full length of the track to evaluate its current state. Following the inspection of the grounds and the circuit itself, both parties agreed to keep the dialogue going looking ahead to the future.
