Here is the thing about racing weekends: the work starts long before the green flag drops. Facundo Gil Bicella, who serves as the General Secretary and leads the coordination of the educational department for the ACTC, recently shed light on the safe driving clinic held in the city of Rosario.
This educational initiative was specifically tailored for the provincial security personnel of Santa Fe. More than 60 police officers stepped up to take part in the program, which blended theoretical training, simulator sessions, and actual practice out on the asphalt.
The entire operation was brought together through a collaborative effort. Gil Bicella pointed out that the program was coordinated alongside the government of the province of Santa Fe, the provincial road safety agency, the municipality of Rosario, and the team at the Autódromo Juan Manuel Fangio as one of their customary educational activities leading up to a Turismo Carretera race.
"It has been a great experience for us, but fundamentally for the ones who could participate and have taken a lot of knowledge regarding driving," the ACTC General Secretary concluded.
