Here is a massive step up for the single-seater ladder: Gabriel Gomez is heading straight into FIA Formula 3 for the 2027 campaign with LN4 Fusion. It is a stunning promotion for the Brazilian driver, who spent the 2026 season competing in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he wrapped up the year 14th overall.
Gomez's journey in single-seaters started back in 2023 in Spanish F4 before he took on a full championship campaign the following year. But it was 2025 that really put his name on the map. He stormed to the Formula Winter Series title by collecting three wins and nine podium finishes, while also taking second place in both the Italian and E4 Championships, combining for six wins and 16 podiums across those two efforts.
Speaking about his F3 promotion, Gomez shared his excitement for the upcoming challenge. “I’m really happy about this opportunity to join the LN4 Fusion team and race in FIA F3 next year! I’m grateful to the team, my sponsors, and everyone who has helped make this opportunity possible. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone involved in this new project, and I’m confident we can do a great job together on track!” he said.
Chief Executive Officer of LN4 Fusion Dan Richards expressed equal enthusiasm for welcoming the new talent. “Gabriel has shown impressive potential so far, and we look forward to working with him. He has a remarkable resume, and we see all the ingredients for a positive season together. We are in for an exciting challenge, and we will start preparing as soon as possible to maximize what we can achieve,” Richards added.
Now, the real work begins. With testing and preparations ramping up, Gomez and LN4 Fusion will look to turn that glittering junior resume into immediate pace when the FIA Formula 3 grid assembles for the 2027 season.
