Here we go, racing fans. NASCAR heads straight to Martinsville Speedway for the penultimate race weekend of the 2026 season as The Chase presented by Mobil 1 enters its final two races across all three divisions. At just 0.526 miles in length, NASCAR's shortest track presents a stark contrast to Talladega Superspeedway. Championship contenders now face the tight turns and close-quarters racing of "The Paperclip" before the season finale arrives at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
This trip to Martinsville marks the fourth of five straight tripleheader weekends closing out the campaign. The Craftsman Truck Series opens the action Friday evening at 6 p.m. ET on FS1, running on four total sets of tires, split into two new sets for the race, one for practice, and one for qualifying that transfers to the race.
Saturday afternoon belongs to the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with race day scheduled for 4 p.m. ET on The CW. Teams in this category are allocated five total sets of tires: three new sets for the race, one for practice, and one for qualifying that transfers over to the main event.
Finally, the premier Cup Series takes over Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. Cup teams get twelve total sets of tires for the weekend, featuring nine new sets for the race, two for practice, and a single set for qualifying that transfers to the race itself.
