Now, that is how you step into a new era. The Paysafe Envision squad have put the final touches on their preparations for the 2026/27 Formula E championship by revealing a striking brand new livery for the upcoming GEN4 era. Following recent news regarding a fresh title partner and driver line-up, the team have now shown off the aesthetic that will carry them into this next chapter.
Thankfully, the team kept their beloved green bodywork. But it now sits alongside a bold new three-colour design incorporating blue and white, which creates a noticeably faster and more dynamic visual identity on the machine. This refreshed look ties the squad's racing heritage directly to the visual identity of their new title partner, global payments leader Paysafe. Entering the championship as Paysafe Envision Racing, the collaboration aims to connect motorsport, gaming, and digital payments.
Fans will not have to wait too long to see the beast in action either. December 18 & 19 marks the first time this new livery will hit the track in person at the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix. That opening weekend will also witness the team debut of drivers Maximilian Günther and Zak O'Sullivan.
More importantly, that same weekend introduces Formula E's all-new GEN4 machinery, and the numbers are frankly staggering. This machine is capable of hitting speeds in excess of 335kph, launching from 0-100kph in approximately 1.8 seconds, and covering 0-200kph in just 4.4 seconds—which makes it 1.5 seconds faster than the car it replaces.
When the lights go out, GEN4 delivers 50% more power in race mode compared to the current GEN3 Evo race car. Over a single lap in qualifying mode, it will be an average of 10 seconds faster than the GEN3 car. Drop the car into ATTACK MODE and it produces up to 600kW of power, marking a 71% increase in base output over the GEN3 Evo. To top it all off, GEN4 stands as the only single-seater race car featuring permanent all-wheel drive. It is a massive technical leap, and we are going to see it on track very soon.
